Alex Myers

Alex Myers has worked for three companies in the past four years, beginning in 2016. At NTT DATA, Inc., they were a Technical Support Analyst from 2016 to 2018. Alex then moved to Secureworks, where they served as an Infosec Analyst and Senior Infosec Analyst from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are a Cyber Security and Penetration Engineer and Director of Cyber Security at Scratch Financial.

Alex Myers has a diverse educational background. Alex completed a Master of Arts (MA) in Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) in History at the University of Cape Town in 2013. Alex also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Honours) in Philosophy at the University of Cape Town in 2011, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with majors in Philosophy, History, and Classical Latin at the same university in 2009. Additionally, Alex Myers holds certifications from CompTIA, Qualys, Splunk, Linux Professional Institute, and Cisco.
