Patrick Montgomery

Patrick Montgomery is an award-winning author currently writing a series of books on baseball, with experience as a book author at Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group since January 2023 and as an actor with the Screen Actors Guild Awards since June 2022. As the co-owner of Maui Wowi Hawaiian Coffees and Smoothies from March 2020 to March 2023, Patrick focused on beverage service. In previous roles, Patrick served as the Advertising and Public Affairs Chief for the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion, Director of Public Affairs for the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, and Public Information Director for the South Carolina Office of the State Treasurer, implementing strategic communication initiatives. With 18 years of military service as a public affairs officer in the United States Coast Guard, Patrick specialized in media relations and incident communications and held several leadership positions overseeing public affairs operations. Patrick's education includes studies at SUNY New Paltz and training at the Defense Information School and Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.
