Filipa Castro's work experience begins in 2017 with a role as a 2D Animator for BBC The Listening Project - Children in Need. In 2018, they worked as a Character Designer and 2D Animator for Blue Cross For Pets. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Shift Leader at Tate. In 2021, Filipa worked as a 2D Animator for Pluvia and Reform the Funk. In 2020, they were a 2D Animator and Illustrator, working closely with UK clients on various projects. Currently, Filipa is employed as a Creative Social Media Editor at SCREENSHOT Media.

Filipa Castro pursued their education in a creative field, specializing in animation. Filipa completed their Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Illustration from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 2016 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their expertise by enrolling in Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London. From 2020 to 2022, Filipa pursued a Master of Arts in Character Animation at this prestigious institution.
