Sherman T. Moore

Sherman T. Moore is the current Corporate VP of Business Development at Scripps Health. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Strategy and Special Projects at City of Hope from May 2017 to October 2021. In this role, Sherman was responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic roadmap based on market/situational analysis and organizational capabilities and expertise consistent with the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of a nationally recognized cancer and research center. Sherman also functioned as the key liaison with finance and organizational transformation leadership to execute on strategy.

Before their time at City of Hope, Sherman was a Partner at Kurt Salmon from September 1999 to May 2017. In this role, they led overall engagement processes, including client development, proposal/project definition, sales, and contract negotiation for two national consulting firms specializing in healthcare provider strategy. Sherman also managed professional and support staff, led client solution development and held accountability for overall client satisfaction and on-site project schedule, quality of project deliverables, and fee/expense budgets ranging from $50,000 to more than $1.5 million.

Sherman began their career in 1997 as an Administrative Fellow/Assistant to the President at Henry Ford Health System.

Sherman T. Moore has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Sherman also has a BS in Accounting from the University of Utah.
