Charles Warren

Charles Warren, P.E. is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the solid waste and mining industries. Currently with SCS Engineers since June 2014, Charles leads teams in the design and construction of landfill projects, while previously providing comprehensive client support, permitting, and construction design. Prior roles include Senior Mining Engineer at Iluka Resources, managing mine site planning and permitting, and Mine Planning Engineer, focusing on environmental audits and mine development. Charles began their career in field operations at Martin Marietta Materials and gained early experience as an intern at both Alpha Natural Resources and Arch Coal, Inc. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech.
