Denise Webster is a seasoned professional in the field of food safety, currently serving as the VP of Food Safety at SCS Global Services since August 2023 and an Adjunct Professor of Food Science at the Chapman Food Science Program. With extensive experience, Denise was the Owner and Principal Scientist at Food Brand Protection, LLC, from August 2016 to September 2023, where strategic gap analysis and program development were key focuses. Previous roles include senior positions at companies such as Yummy Spoonfuls™ Organic Baby Food, Luvo Inc, and Fresh & Easy, with responsibilities spanning product safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. Denise holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Food Science from Michigan State University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
