Canan Yıldırım, (Ph.D.)

Canan Yıldırım (Ph.D.) has a diverse and extensive work experience in HR management and consulting. Canan currently holds the position of Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy at SCW.AI by Supply Chain Wizard. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing strategic planning and providing insight and guidance to the executive team.

Before joining SCW.AI, Canan worked at Istanbul Bilgi University as a part-time instructor in the Human Resource Management Graduate Program. Canan delivered courses on "Strategic HR" and "HR Planning and Staffing" for five years. Additionally, they mentored senior students with their graduation projects and played a crucial role in building the curriculum and training resources.

Prior to their academic role, Canan had an extensive career at Oracle. Canan started as an Oracle Applications HR & CRM Senior Consultant and Team Lead in 2005, where they worked on projects for various industries, including finance, telecommunications, and retail. Canan'sresponsibilities included leading project teams, system configuration and design, and post-go-live support.

At Oracle, Canan also worked as an HCM Principal Solution Consultant, where they were responsible for C-level engagements, bid management, and customer success management. Canan played a key role in supporting strategic deals and delivering value propositions to executive-level clients. Canan also led functional and technical pre-sales teams, conducted trainings, and supported product localizations.

Prior to Oracle, Canan worked at Accenture UK as an Oracle HCM and CRM Consultant. Canan led a team of consultants and analysts, overseeing CRM implementation and delivery. Canan also served as the primary point of contact for customer business owners and led design workshops and change management activities.

Canan Yıldırım completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with Honours at Bilkent University from 1999 to 2003. Then, they pursued a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with Honours at Boğaziçi University from 2003 to 2005. After a gap, they furthered their education and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with High Honour in Business Administration - Organization and Management from Istanbul Bilgi University between 2013 and 2017.
