Jonas Hirner

Jonas Hirner has extensive experience in information security and risk management. Jonas currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for SDA SE Open Industry Solutions, where they are responsible for optimizing the existing information security management system (ISMS) and processes. Prior to this role, they worked as the Group CISO for Engel & Völkers AG and its subsidiaries, leading the security organization and guiding the IT-Security department at Engel & Völkers Technology GmbH. During their time at Engel & Völkers, they also served as the Interim Head of Product Management, where they developed effective processes for product management and delivery. Before joining Engel & Völkers, Jonas worked at IBM in various roles, including Principal Consultant for Data Security, where they led teams and worked on complex international customer projects. Overall, Jonas Hirner has a strong background in information security, risk management, and product management.

Jonas Hirner has a rich education history. Jonas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart between the years 2006 and 2009. This degree focused on the practical application of computer science skills.

After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Jonas pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School between 2014 and 2017. Jonas'sfield of study for the MBA was Business Administration and Management, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of various management principles and practices.

Jonas obtained the IT-Compliance Manager certification from TÜV in July 2012, which demonstrates their expertise in ensuring compliance with IT regulations. Jonas completed the IBM Security Essentials for Architects course in August 2017, gaining knowledge in architectural security considerations.
