Mette Marie Christtreu

Mette Marie Christtreu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mette Marie began their career in 1995 as a Lawyer/Jurist at Grønlands Selvstyre and later worked at Danish Environmental Protection Agency in the same role. In 1999, they joined Grontmij A/S - Danmark as an International Bid & Contract Manager. In 2000, they transitioned to Erhvervs- og Selskabsstyrelsen, where they served as the Head of PMO and a Programme & Project Manager until 2007. Mette then joined DONG Energy as the Head of Project Portfolio Mgt. Office, Energy Markets. Mette Marie later became the Head of PMO, IT and Head of Test Management. From 2013 to 2018, Mette worked as the Head of PMO & Test Mgt. at DONG Energy. Currently, they are the Area Director, SVP, Portfolio, Projects, Agile & Test at SDC.

Mette Marie Christtreu has a diverse education history. In 1989 to 1995, they attended Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and obtained a Master of Law degree, specializing in Law. In 1998 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Colorado Denver. Additionally, Mette Marie Christtreu has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified Professional Scrum Master, Certified Change Manager (ADKAR model), Insight Certified Trainer, and ICC certified coach, all obtained in 2013. In 2019, they attended Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, specializing in Management. Mette Marie Christtreu has also acquired various certifications such as LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, LEAN Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Lean Produktion Certificeret Yellow Belt, and Lean Service og Administration Certificeret Yellow Belt, all obtained from Compass LEAN Academy in 2022. Mette Marie is also a Judge representing Denmark, certified as a Product Owner by Scrum.org, a Professional Agile Leadership practitioner, an IPMA A Certified Portfolio Director certified by IPMA: International Project Management Association, and P3O certified by Peak Consulting Group.
