Hugo Anjos

Hugo Anjos has a diverse range of work experiences, with a focus on data analysis and research. In 2020, they worked as a Data Analyst for Direção-Geral da Saúde, where they were responsible for COVID-19 data preparation and analysis. Hugo also played a key role in developing support materials for governmental COVID-19 weekly reports. In 2021, they worked as a Researcher at Unidade de Epidemiologia - Instituto de Medicina Preventiva e Saúde Pública - FMUL, contributing to a COVID-19-related project by providing statistical knowledge and developing necessary R functions. Additionally, they obtained a six-month research fellowship in 2022 at Centro de Estatística e Aplicações da Universidade de Lisboa, where they focused on spatial analysis using machine learning in the tumor microenvironment. Most recently, they joined SDG Group as a Business Intelligence Analyst in 2023. Hugo Anjos began their education in 2016 at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, where they pursued a Licentiate degree in Biologia - Geral. Hugo completed this degree in 2019. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2021, Hugo Anjos continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Biostatistics.
