Nil Palau Julià

Nil Palau Julià began their work experience in 2020 as a Private Teacher, providing reinforcement and preparatory classes for baccalaureate students and university entrance examinations. Nil achieved a 90% pass ratio for 20 undergraduates.

In 2021, they worked as a Store Cashier at Grup Sorli, where they managed real-time stock control and on-site supplies management. Nil also handled direct sales and customer support, working as part of a team of 30 people.

In 2022, Nil worked at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya as a Navigation and Control System I+D Engineer. Nil collaborated with the Electronic Engineer Department to develop an autonomous wheelchair using ROS-based indoor exploration and navigation. Nil designed an autonomous position tracking system and implemented a control interface in C#.

In the same year, they joined FI Group as an R+D+i Consultant. Their responsibilities included analyzing technical and economic documentation of research and innovation projects, evaluating client companies' activities, and searching for R+D+i grant opportunities in various sectors.

Most recently, in 2023, Nil started working at SDG Group as a Data Analyst, where they are currently employed.

Nil Palau Julià completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN from 2018 to 2022. In 2021 to 2022, they also pursued specialization subjects in Industrial Technologies Engineering at UPC - ETSEIB. Before that, from 2016 to 2018, Nil completed their Bachillerato Tecnológico at Institut Valerià Pujol i Bosch. Additionally, they obtained the FCE certification from the University of Cambridge in June 2018.
