Adrian Carolan

Adrian Carolan is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at SE Controls since September 2018, with a focus on new product development. Previous roles include Principal Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at SE Controls, where responsibility encompassed mechanical design and testing of electro-mechanical products. Adrian has also held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Wabtec Faiveley UK, leading major design elements for specialized road-rail machinery. As the Director of AC CAD, a design consultancy founded by Adrian in 2018, significant expertise in design and engineering management has been demonstrated. Earlier experience includes a Design Team Manager role at ARD Crushing Limited and teaching positions at Aston University, where skills in SOLIDWORKS and project management were cultivated. Adrian holds an MSc in Product Design Innovation and a BSc in Sustainable Product Design from Aston University.
