Bill McHugh has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Bill recently worked at Sea Island Company as the Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant General Counsel at Rayonier Advanced Materials and Rayonier. Before going into corporate law, Bill was a Shareholder at Durham, McHugh & Duncan, P.C. Bill also worked as an Associate at Fendig, McLemore, Whitworth and Durham and Webb, Stuckey, & Lindsey, LLC. In addition to their legal career, Bill served in the United States Army Reserve as a JAG Attorney and Infantry Officer.
Bill McHugh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1991. Bill then pursued a Juris Doctorate degree at Emory University School of Law from 1991 to 1994, where they were a Robert W. Woodruff Scholar in Law. In 1995, Bill attended The Judge Advocate General's School (Army) to study Military Law. Bill also completed a course at the U.S. Army Infantry School in 1992. Later, Bill obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Florida in 2014, where they were a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
