Director of Technology at SEA-KIT International

Peter W. has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries. Peter started their career at Weymouth Harbour Authority in 2004 as a Port Berthing Officer, where they managed daily operations and coordinated various tasks. In 2007, they joined HarbourZone Networks as an Electronics & Automation Engineer, working on electronic solutions for marine applications. At CGG, they served as an Offshore Navigator, responsible for operating the Integrated Navigation System on geological exploration vessels. In 2014, Peter became a Detective at Scotland Yard, where they worked in various departments within the CID portfolio. Currently, they are the Director of Technology at SEA-KIT International, specializing in onboard electronic integration for unmanned surface vessel operations.

Peter W. completed their Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Bournemouth University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Marine Science - Ocean Yachting from the University of Plymouth from 2006 to 2009. Peter also attended Weymouth College from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Media with a focus on A Level Photography. Their earlier education includes completing their GCSEs at All Saints C of E School from 1998 to 2002.
