Volen Dimitrov

Volen Dimitrov is an experienced maritime professional with extensive expertise in vessel operations and crew management. Currently serving as Master/SDPO at SeaBird Exploration since October 2022, Volen has overseen significant projects in the Gulf of Mexico for major clients, including Shell, Chevron, and BP. Previous roles include Master/SDPO at Green Energy Group and Chief Officer/SDPO at Rem Offshore, where Volen was instrumental in training crew and managing operations on various vessels, including those used for offshore survey and cable laying projects. Volen's career reflects a strong foundation in navigation, dynamic positioning operations, and safety management, supported by a solid educational background from Technical University of Varna and Varna Maritime High School.
