Kyle McCornack has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they started as an Audio Engineer and Shift Leader at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts - Performance Hall. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Chicago, and during this time, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Human Behavioral Pharmacology Laboratory. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer at Jason Salavon Studio/University of Chicago. From 2017 to 2021, they served as an FPGA Engineer at LaSalle Trading Group, LLC. In 2020, they worked as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago Masters Program in Computer Science. In 2022, they participated in the Recurse Center and also worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Phase3D (Formerly Additive Monitoring Systems) from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as a Controls Software Engineer at Seabound.

Kyle McCornack earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Chicago, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the same institution, studying from 2016 to 2018.
