Chris Smyth

Chris Smyth has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Chris started their career as a Finance Director at Barton Precision Tubes in 1988 and later worked as a Group Finance Director at Sara Lee Personal Products (South Africa) from 1993 to 1997. Chris then joined National Airways Corporation as a Group Finance Director from 1997 to 1999. Following that, they worked as a Finance Executive at Radiospoor from 1999 to 2001. Chris then assumed the role of Group Finance Director at Kenya Airways from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Virgin Nigeria Airways from 2005 to 2007. Smyth then transitioned to South African Airways, where they held various positions, including General Manager of Operations from 2007 to 2009, Acting CEO from 2009 to 2010, and General Manager of Operations again from 2010 to 2011. Chris then moved to Pinnacle Technology Holdings Limited as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Finance Director from 2011 to 2013. Most recently, Smyth has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at SEACOM LTD since 2013.
