Marcos Santiago

Marcos Santiago has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Rig Manager at Seadrill since August 2022. Previously, Marcos held similar positions at Ocyan from January 2018 to August 2022 and at Odebrecht Óleo e Gás from January 2010 to January 2018, where responsibilities included engineering coordination and the management of ultra-deep water semi-submersible rigs. Earlier roles included Planning and Production Engineer at Construtora Norberto Odebrecht, focusing on maintenance and construction support for Petrobras platforms, and as Equipment Engineer Trainee at Braskem, where monitoring and reliability analysis of equipment were primary tasks. Marcos holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia, completed in 2007.
