Mildred Smith has extensive experience in marketing and advertising. Mildred most recently served as the Vice President of Marketing at Seafood City Supermarket starting in 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO for the US market at The Hatchery Creatives from 2014 to 2020. Smith also worked as a Marketing Manager at Chowking USA from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they were self-employed as an independent business consultant, managing their own consultancy firm called Blue Bottle Advertising from 2008 to 2011. Smith founded and led Blue Bottle Advertising from 2003 to 2008, where they expanded the business and worked with major brands. Mildred also worked as a joint owner and partner at Cid/Henares & Associates from 1997 to 2003, where they gained experience in building brand image and increasing sales. Smith began their career as an Associate Creative Director at Jimenez/DMB&B Advertising from 1996 to 1997, and earlier as a Creative Manager in TV & Radio at Saatchi & Saatchi from 1993 to 1996.

Mildred Smith started their education journey in 1974 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Advertising from the University of Santo Tomas in 1977. In 1990, they attended the NSW School of Applied Psychology to study Child Psychology and focused on Parenting Skills. Later, in 2007, they enrolled in the New School of Cooking where they earned a diploma in Culinary Arts, completing their studies in 2009. Additionally, in 2008, they briefly attended Pasadena City College to study Web Design.
