Arcelia Torres

Arcelia Torres, PHR has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Arcelia started their career as a Sr. HR Generalist at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in 2001, where they worked for five years. Arcelia then moved on to Silver Eagle Distributors, where they served as a Human Resources Manager for eight years. In 2014, Arcelia joined ITW as a Division Human Resources Manager, overseeing operations in 55 countries. After ITW's divestment, they joined Johns Manville Industrial Insulation as a Multi-site HR Manager in 2019. In 2020, they became the Human Resources Director of Grupo AlEn's North American subsidiary, leading a team of 5000+ employees. Currently, Arcelia serves as the Global Human Resources Director at Seal For Life Industries.

Arcelia Torres, PHR completed their education at the University of Phoenix, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2003. Prior to that, they attended the University of Houston and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in 2000, with a focus on Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their academic achievements, Arcelia Torres has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. These include certifications in A2E Business Fundamentals, Management Accelerator as part of the Hispanic & Latino Leadership Academy, Business Strategy, and Problem Solving, all obtained from McKinsey & Company in 2022. Arcelia also obtained the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in December 2003.
