Alan Carr has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to present. Alan has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Security Officer at Wakenhut Security, where they managed facility entrances and exits, monitored security cameras, and responded to facility disasters until 1998. In 1999, they worked as an IT Specialist at Borders and Baker College of Jackson until 2002. During this time, they also served as a Computer Networking Representative at Baker College from 2000 to 2002. In 2002, they became a Website Creator/Manager at The Regs and a Computer Consultant until 2015. In 2012, they interned as an Information Technologies Intern at Pairasight Inc. Currently, since 2015, they work as an Information Technology Manager at SeaLandAire Technologies, Inc., where they are responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and Microsoft Windows Clients. Alan also analyzes and engineers system solutions and ensures the dependability and accuracy of system infrastructure and procedures.
Alan Carr attended Baker College of Jackson from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associates in Applied Science degree with a focus on Linux/Unix. Alan then continued their education at Baker College of Jackson from 2012 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Information Technology and Security degree with a specialization in Cyber Defense.
