Olalekan Ajagbe, PSM, PRINCE2

Olalekan Ajagbe has extensive work experience in project management and scrum mastering. From 2023 to present, they are working as a Scrum Master at SEAMFIX, where they enforce the adoption of Agile methodology and manages the BioSmart MTN Nigeria Scrum Team. Olalekan collaborates closely with the Technical Product Manager, Project Manager, and cross-functional team to ensure timely updates and maintenance of MTN BioSmart with an Agile mindset.

Prior to this, from 2008 to 2023, they worked at Africa Prudential Plc in various roles. As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, they successfully delivered the implementation of the TEF Connect Version 2 digital platform, connecting entrepreneurs with mentors and investors across Africa. Olalekan also managed the implementation of Greenpole version 2, a proprietary registrar software, and the Africa Prudential Events Management System (APEMS) for managing corporate events.

In addition, they spearheaded the transition from physical to electronic voting at the Annual General Meeting for the Registrar arm of Africa Prudential. This involved sourcing a vendor from China, negotiating with them, purchasing and shipping the devices, and working with the IT team to integrate them with the in-house application. This initiative resulted in revenue improvement for the Registrar in subsequent years.

Olalekan Ajagbe, PSM, PRINCE2 has a diverse and well-rounded education history. Olalekan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, they attended Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication/Media Studies.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ajagbe has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Olalekan obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in June 2022. In February 2021, they completed the Agile Project Management: Agile, Scrum, Kanban & XP course from Udemy. Furthermore, in June 2020, they achieved the Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.

These qualifications demonstrate Ajagbe's dedication to both traditional academic learning and ongoing professional development in the field of project management.
