Ryan Kirby

Ryan Kirby has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan is currently the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Product at GovOS since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing from May 2020 to January 2023 at the same company.

Before joining GovOS, Ryan was the Chief Strategy Officer at Cook Out Restaurants from October 2019 to May 2020.

From June 2018 to June 2019, Ryan worked as the Vice President of Product Marketing at APEX Analytix, LLC. Ryan'sresponsibilities included the product launch of the SmartVM solution, video creation, managing AR/PR, website, and creative resources.

Prior to that, Ryan was the Vice President at Superion from April 2017 to June 2018. Ryan played a crucial role in the corporate rebranding, website redesign, and launching ad campaigns for industry magazines and websites.

Ryan has also worked at SunGard Public Sector from 1999 to 2017, holding various roles such as Director of Sales Engineering, Director of Quality Assurance, Sr. Manager of Development, and Manager of Development. Ryan worked on developing data conversion practices, implemented quality processes, and rolled out the Scrum methodology. Ryan also played a key role in developing software solutions for public safety organizations.

Earlier in their career, Ryan served as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Sparqware from March 2008 to March 2009. Ryan was responsible for the technical leadership and software product design.

Ryan began their career as a Systems Analyst at Intex Corporation in 1997.

Ryan Kirby attended North Carolina State University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Technology Education. In April 2009, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
