Margaret was responsible for developing and managing compliance and HIPAA programs for healthcare providers and business associates. Before joining MPA, Scavotto worked as a Health Care Attorney at Lashly & Baer, P.C., where they specialized in health care and corporate law. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Judicial Clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals. Throughout their career, Scavotto has demonstrated expertise in developing policies, procedures, and training materials to improve operational outcomes in the healthcare industry.
Margaret Scavotto, JD, CHC, holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, which they earned from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science at Kenyon College from 1998 to 2001. Their secondary education took place at John Burroughs from 1992 to 1998. Additionally, Margaret has obtained certification in healthcare compliance from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB).
