Brent Jones

Brent Jones is the Director of Athletics at Troy University since March 2017, also serving as the Deputy Athletic Director of External Operations, overseeing various aspects of revenue generation, marketing, communications, and fan engagement. Additionally, Brent is a Steering Committee Member for SEAT - Sports & Entertainment Alliance in Technology since November 2018. Prior roles include Senior Associate Athletics Director of External Affairs and Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Communications at The University of Southern Mississippi, where responsibilities included managing external affairs, revenue generation, and sports information. Brent also held positions at Georgia Southern University and the University of Mississippi, contributing to sports marketing and game day operations. Brent holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Mississippi and a degree in History and Education from Oglethorpe University.
