Jim Menard

Jim Menard has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim started their career at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions in 2009 as the Brain AI/Rules Lead, where they built a technology platform for taxonomy-based modeling of student knowledge and customized study recommendations. Jim then moved on to ideeli as the Director of Technology, providing technical guidance and mentorship and leading projects such as the development of an A/B testing framework and replacement of a credit card vendor. Jim also worked at General Assemb.ly as a Principal Engineer, where they prototyped and implemented new systems and researched technologies. Jim then joined nRelate as the VP of Engineering, leading and growing the technology platform and improving processes for software development and operations teams.

In 2014, Jim worked as the Senior Director of Engineering and Architecture, Science at AIG, and later joined Chloe + Isabel as a Principal Engineer, collaborating with the technology team to improve the platform's quality and scalability. Jim then joined Warby Parker as the Principal Engineer for the Retail and Vision Services team, overseeing technical design review, code quality, technical mentorship, and team architecture discussions. Jim's most recent role is at Infinite Reality, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for enhancing the API and business logic behind the Display Social networking app and Infinite Reality multi-tenant metaverse platform.

Currently, Jim is employed at SeatGeek as a Staff Software Engineer.

Jim Menard attended the University of Rochester from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
