Kyle Shannon

Kyle Shannon's work experience starts in 2009 as Creative Artist Development at Modern Vintage Recordings. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Web/E-Commerce Developer and later as a Senior Ecommerce Developer at Originet IBS, Inc.

In 2009, Shannon joined New Leaders for New Schools as the Manager of Web and Salesforce Application, where they managed Salesforce administration and development, integrated ExactTarget, and implemented an internal Salesforce Cases system.

From 2012 to 2015, Shannon worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BustedTees, responsible for maintaining custom e-commerce frameworks and managing scalability during peak times.

At TeePublic, Shannon held multiple roles starting from 2015. As a Senior Software Engineer, they were the technical owner for ESP and marketing integrations. Kyle also served as the Data Engineering Lead, establishing a modern ELT data stack, scaling marketing product feeds, and building cross-functional data pipelines.

Currently, Shannon is working at SeatGeek as a Sr Analytics Engineer since 2021.

Kyle Shannon's education history includes attending the NYC Data Science Academy in 2019, where they acquired knowledge and skills in Big Data with Amazon Cloud, Hadoop/Spark, and Docker, specializing in Data Science. Prior to that, it is unclear which years they attended, but they studied Computer Science at Brookdale Community College. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University.

In terms of certifications, Kyle Shannon has an Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals, which they obtained in March 2021 from Astronomer. Kyle also holds a Salesforce.com Certified Developer certification, earned in January 2012 from Salesforce.
