Alex Alviar

Alex Alviar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in management and marketing across various industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at Tesseract Ventures since August 2018 and Fund Manager at Seattle Angel Conference since February 2022, Alex also holds the position of Therapeutic Area Manager at Genentech since August 2020. Previously, Alex was Senior Director of Global Product Marketing at Olympus Corporation of the Americas from December 2011 to July 2018, and Group Manager of Global Strategic Marketing at Abbott Vascular from May 2005 to December 2011. Additional experience includes roles at Pfizer, SMIF Program, Advanced Bionics, and Deloitte Consulting. Alex holds a BA in Economics and Political Science, as well as an MBA from Stanford University.
