Liam Sullivan

Liam Sullivan is a Research Scientist at Seattle Children's since June 2020, where research focuses on the blood brain barrier's role in neurodegenerative diseases, currently investigating capillary pericytes' impact on blood flow regulation under the mentorship of Andy Shih, PhD. Previously, Liam served as Assistant Director of Projects at COPE Health Scholars, managing a patient care program, and as a Clinical Research Assistant in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UW Medicine, aiding in research projects. Additional experience includes roles as a Morning Supervisor at ROOTS Young Adult Shelter, overseeing volunteers and guests, and Program Coordinator at HeyMentor, supporting high school students. Liam holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Washington, with prior education at the University of Victoria.
