Jay Hansen

Jay Hansen has extensive work experience in talent development, learning and development, and strategic support roles. In their most recent position as Vice President of Talent Development at Seattle Credit Union, they oversee the development and delivery of learning solutions. Prior to that, at BECU, they held roles such as Sr. Manager of Enterprise Learning & Development - HR and Manager of Learning & Development - Retail Delivery, where they led teams and designed and implemented various learning programs. They also had a role as a Senior Trainer & Operations Support Specialist at Salal Credit Union, and as a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Cielo Talent. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Educator at BECU and held various roles at Seattle Vision Church, Seattle Grace Presbyterian Church, Red Robin, and Bank of America. Overall, Jay Hansen has a diverse background in talent development and learning and development roles, with a strong focus on strategic collaboration and employee engagement.

Jay Hansen has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication, General from the University of Washington, which was completed in 2006. In 2019, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies. Currently, Jay is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Learning Experience Design from Brandeis University - Graduate Professional Studies, with an expected completion date in 2024. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including the ATD-Training Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2015 and various LinkedIn certifications in 2017.
