Kung-Pern Wang

Kung-Pern Wang has a diverse work experience spanning different research and academic roles. From 2016 onwards, Wang has been employed at Seagen, where they have held various positions including Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Prior to that, Wang worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University from 2013 to 2016, where they led chemist and research activities in a sponsored research agreement with Bristol-Myers Squibb. They also managed large-scale synthesis projects and collaborated with external partners. Wang's earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2007 to 2013, where they conducted research on enyne metathesis and published multiple research articles. They also worked as a Research Assistant and Lab Administrator at both National Tsing Hua University and Actimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Wang's academic background includes a Master's degree from National Tsing Hua University and undergraduate research experience at the Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica, Taiwan.

Kung-Pern Wang holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Organic Chemistry at the same university. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago.
