Erin Murray

Erin Murray, SPHR, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Erin currently serves as the Vice President of People Operations at the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, where they are responsible for shaping processes, training programs, and policies to support the organization's culture and values. Prior to this role, Erin served as the Human Resources Director and Manager at the Chamber, promoting organizational success through job design, recruitment, performance evaluation, training and development, and employee benefits.

Erin has also held positions in the public sector, serving as a City Councilmember for the City of Mountlake Terrace. Erin has experience in the technology industry as well, working as a Talent Resource Partner at Planet and a Recruiting Manager at EagleView Technologies, Inc. Erin has also worked in the staffing and consulting industries, holding roles such as Senior Technical Recruiter at Velocity Partners, Placement Manager at Experis (formerly COMSYS), and Recruiting Consultant at QRC.

Erin Murray, SPHR, has a background in Organizational Leadership. Erin attended Seattle University, where they studied this field. Prior to that, Erin attended Garfield High School. In addition to their education, Erin has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Erin received a Certificate of Municipal Leadership from the Association of Washington Cities in February 2021. In December 2016, they obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Furthermore, in December 2008, they earned the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
