Angela Gist

Angela Gist is currently the Director of Human Resources at Seattle Opera. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at Studio East - Training for the Performing Arts from October 2019 to September 2020. Angela has also been the Artistic Director at Vashon Center for the Arts from January 2010 to April 2019.

Angela Gist has a certificate in human resources management/personnel administration from the University of Washington, an executive masters in non-profit leadership from Seattle University, and a bachelor's degree in theatre/speech from Oklahoma State University. Angela is also certified as a senior professional in human resources by HRCI.

They work with Aren Der Hacopian - Director of Artistic Administration & Planning, Lokela Alexander Minami - Community Engagement Manager, and Kristina Murti - Director of Marketing & Communications. Their manager is Christina Scheppelmann, General Director.
