Raymond Chao

Raymond Chao is the Individual Giving Officer at Seattle Opera. Raymond has been in the field of Development for 8 years. Raymond got their start as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington before becoming a Business Manager at the Washington State Department of Commerce. From there, Raymond became VP of Investor Relations at EIM Capital. After 3 years at EIM Capital, Raymond became the Development Director at Phinney Neighborhood Association and recently made the move to Seattle Opera. Raymond has a passion for arts and culture and is excited to continue their work in the Development field at Seattle Opera.

Raymond Chao has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Theirtory (US Economic Theirtory) from the University of Pennsylvania.

They are on a team with Emma Ming Wahl - Development Coordinator, Isabel Thomas - Research & Database Manager, and Avena Fan - Institutional Giving Intern. Raymond Chao reports to Allison Rabbitt, Director of Development.
