Gilles Pelissier has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1986, they worked as a Group International auditor at Bouygues. From 1988 to 1991, they worked at Nestlé France as a Financial Controller, where they restructured business units through mergers & acquisitions and optimized financial, tax, and accounting policies for the Group. At Nestle France, they also served as a Sales Area Manager, Senior Product Manager for Nescafé, Marketing Manager for the Coffee Business, and Business Development Head + National Sales Director for Supermarkets in the Dry Food division from 1993 to 2004.

From 2006 to 2012, Gilles worked at Antalis International & Arjowiggins, where they served as the Worldwide Marketing & Development Director. Gilles identified growth opportunities, developed new offers, and increased profitability through innovation.

Since 2012, Gilles Pelissier has been associated with Groupe SEB as the VP Brands & Communication. In this role, they lead and implements brand strategy & communication worldwide, optimizing brand portfolio, leading marketing digitalization, and deploying marketing resources around fully integrated, consumer-centric brand plans. Gilles is responsible for a brand portfolio that includes Tefal, Krups, Rowenta, Moulinex, Seb, Calor, Supor, WMF, etc.

Gilles Pelissier holds an MBA in Management & Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they obtained from 1991 to 1993. Gilles also earned a Master's degree in Economics & Finance from Sciences Po Paris between 1983 and 1985. In addition, they have completed a Customer Experience Certificate program at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2020 and a Digital Marketing Certificate program at ESCP Business School in 2015.
