Arielle Jackson is a Research Analyst at the Urban Institute, focusing on the Justice Policy Center since August 2021. Previously, Jackson served as a Research Assistant in the same center and completed an internship at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, concentrating on justice reform, combating hate and bias, and fair courts. Additional experience includes a legislative internship with the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, where Jackson collaborated with Delegate Darryl Barnes and engaged in research and community communication on policy priorities. Jackson also interned with the Prince George's County State's Attorney Office, assisting with case management and legal documentation, and held a judicial internship with the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, gaining insights into legal processes and courtroom proceedings. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with honors from the University of Maryland, following initial studies at Towson University.
