Ethan Neal

Ethan Neal has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Case Manager at Pillsbury United Communities in 2011. In 2016, they took on the position of Food and Health Equity Coordinator, working closely with various organizations to transform food shelves and conducting research with Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Augsburg College, University of Minnesota, and SNAP ED educators. Ethan then progressed to become an Urban Agricultural Manager, overseeing community gardens and farms that produced food for the food shelf. Ethan later became the Food Systems Manager, where they managed food shelves, community meals, and urban farms across Minneapolis, supervised a team, and collaborated with Augsburg University and the University of Minnesota on research and best practices. In 2021, they advanced to the position of Director of Food Systems at Pillsbury United Communities. Ethan's most recent role is as the Director of Partner Operations at Second Harvest Heartland, starting in 2023.

Ethan Neal obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In 2021, they attended the University of St. Thomas and obtained a certification in Project Management.
