Laura Trussell

Laura Trussell is the current Vice President of Client Success at Second Nature. Laura has over fifteen years of experience in management and operations, with a focus on improving the client experience. Laura began their career in 2006 as the General Manager of Resite Online, a division of Dominion Enterprises. Laura led the company to positive revenue growth through the development of strong teams, processes, and responsible fiscal management. In 2008, Laura managed the merger of two software companies focused on web design, e-payment, online leasing, and CRM solutions. Laura successfully recruited, coached, and developed highly skilled teams through hands-on training, support, and mentoring. Laura guided the team in overcoming large budget deficits to profitable status within one year through the increase of new sales, more efficient goal-oriented processes, and expense reductions. Laura also developed and managed annual budgets, daily operating procedures, and effective interdepartmental communications. In April 2018, Laura joined Paylease (a division of Vista Equity Partners) as the Senior Director of Operations. At Paylease, they focused on improving the client experience through the improvement of operational processes for the Professional Services, Client Account Management, Business, and Consumer Support teams. Laura oversaw the implementation of SalesForce and ServiceCloud to provide an integrated, omni-channel client engagement platform. Laura remained at Paylease until January 2021 when they accepted their current position at Second Nature.

Laura Trussell has a B.A. in Journalism - Public Relations & Marketing from West Virginia University. Laura also has certification from Wharton Executive Education in Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development.
