Anna Gjerstad

Anna Gjerstad is an experienced professional currently serving as an Emergency Desk Program Officer at Secours Islamique France since May 2023. Previously, Anna held the position of Senior Project Manager at ACTION CONTRE LA FAIM from October 2022 to February 2023 and was a Project Manager at ActionAid for most of 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager, Project Officer, and Communication Manager at Health for Africa between April 2017 and July 2021. Additional roles include Program Assistant at Mundo Lingo in 2016 and Seminar Tutor at Betwixt from February 2015 to May 2016. Anna holds a Master's degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Oslo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Bergen. Anna has also studied Political Science and International Relations at Makerere University and China Studies at Møre Folkehøgskule.
