Shahzad Afzal Khan

Shahzad Afzal Khan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and financial analysis. As a Joint Director at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan since October 2004, Shahzad Afzal Khan specializes in the analysis of financial statements for listed companies, ensuring adherence to the Companies Ordinance, IFRS, and various governance codes. Prior to this role, Shahzad Afzal Khan served as the Head of the Finance Department at Blue Lagoon and AW Mess from August 1999 to October 2004, focusing on the preparation of financial statements and management accounts. Shahzad Afzal Khan holds a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) degree from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan and a Master's degree in Economics from Punjab University.
