Alliott Cole

Alliott Cole is the CEO of Octopus Ventures since March 2008, where the focus lies on investing in transformative sectors including biotech, climate, and fintech. In addition to leading Octopus Ventures, Cole is a member of the Scaleup Policy Group for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and serves as a non-executive director for various organizations, including Big Health, Secret Escapes, and ACF Investors. Cole actively participates in initiatives promoting female entrepreneurship through the Invest in Women Taskforce and The Rose Review. An investor in multiple startups such as Permutive and Cazoo, which listed on the NYSE, Cole holds a Master's degree in Classics from the University of Oxford and a postgraduate degree in Law from BPP Law School.
