Koen Basten

Koen Basten started working as an Assistant Product Development Manager at The Licensing Company in August 2012 and stayed there until March 2013. Koen then worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Nutreco from March 2013 to July 2013. From October 2013 to July 2014, Koen worked as a Team Leader Fundraising at Direct Result Marketing. Koen joined Secret View in October 2016 and worked as a Project Manager until December 2017, during which they also coached and oversaw the project management department. Koen took a break to travel in Southeast Asia and Australia and worked as a Book Seller at The Book Grocer from October 2018 to January 2019. Koen then returned to Secret View in February 2019 and took on the role of Business Development Manager, focusing on sales, marketing, customer onboarding, and new business development. Currently, Koen holds the position of Head of Research & Quality at Secret View, where they oversee research design and quality, builds relationships with customers, and strives to develop the best mystery shopping platform.

Koen Basten has an extensive education history. Koen completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Relations at Radboud University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Pre-master in Political Science at Radboud University Nijmegen from 2014 to 2015.

In their undergraduate years, Koen attended Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business and Languages.
