Silvana Balsa Ruella is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social development and gender policy. Currently serving as a Technical Coordinator for the Ibero-American Initiative to Prevent and Eliminate Violence Against Women at the Secretaría General Iberoamericana, Silvana also contributes as a Research Support Technician at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biológicas Clemente Estable. Past roles include consulting on climate change and gender for the Inter-American Development Bank and advising on community social development at UTE. Silvana has held advisory positions within various governmental and international organizations, focusing on gender integration in public policies and social programs.
