Sotirios Karathanasis has an extensive work experience history in the field of biosciences. Sotirios held various roles at different companies, starting from their early career at Harvard Medical School as an instructor and moving on to positions such as Chief Scientific Officer at Eli Lilly, Vice President Bioscience at AstraZeneca, and Executive Director at MedImmune/AstraZeneca. Currently, they serve as the Chief Science Officer at Enveda Biosciences, showcasing their expertise in research, development, and strategic leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sotirios Karathanasis pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry at The University of Georgia before engaging in post-doctoral research in Biological Chemistry at Harvard Medical School.
