Christian Ragan

Christian Ragan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Christian started their career in 1990 as a professional magician and entertainer at Apollo. In 2001, they interned in engineering and production at WTHR - Channel 13 - a television station. Christian then worked as a retail sales associate at RadioShack and served as a server at Steak n Shake.

In 2002, Christian joined St. Vincent Hospital as a security officer and remained in that role until 2014. During this time, they also worked as a security officer at the Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC).

In 2014, Christian took on multiple roles concurrently. Christian worked as a business special deputy at Securatex and served as a legally ordained minister at Universal Life Church. Additionally, Christian held the role of a communication officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, where they were responsible for technical operations and education.

Christian also worked at Urban Tactical Response Agency as a contract agent, performing various duties as a fully armed security officer. However, their employment at this company ended in 2015.

Overall, Christian Ragan has a strong background in security and has also gained experience in entertainment, sales, and production.

Christian Ragan's education history is as follows:

In 1991, they obtained their high school diploma from Carmel High School. Christian then attended Marian University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies.

In 2001, Ragan also completed coursework in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ivy Tech Community College.

From 2007 to 2011, Ragan pursued the Independent Study Program at the FEMA Emergency Management Institute.

In 2008, they completed the Level II Amateur Radio Emergency Communication Course offered by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

In 2009, Ragan received training in Interviewing and Interrogation, specifically in The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation, from John E. Reid and Associates.

In 2012 and 2013, Ragan completed online courses offered by the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Throughout 2013, Ragan engaged in various online training programs, including courses from the Department of Defense (DoD), an Electronic Learning Community course on Hydrogen Response Considerations, and an online certificate program called CSX SAFE (Safety Awareness For Emergencies) from CSX Transportation.

During the same year, Ragan also obtained a certificate in Computer Forensics from the Public Agency Training Council (PATC) and received training in Basic Masterkeying from the Oak Security Group.

In 2013, Ragan participated in a self-study online course, Understanding Terrorism: A Social Science View on Terrorism, offered by The Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

In 2014, Ragan completed the Boating Skills and Seamanship program offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and also received training in Corrections from the Correctional Training Institute (CTI).

Later in 2014, they underwent training as an Information Services Officer at the USCG Aux 10 C-school.

Ragan has also pursued additional educational opportunities. Christian completed Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) adult training with CIT (Crisis Intervention Team), and they became a Special Deputy with the Marion County Sheriff Department.
