Job description

Join Secure Code Warrior to create a safer digital landscape by assisting companies to secure their software through developer-led practices!

Secure Code Warrior’s mission is to establish new standards for coding that transform the ways software is created. We do this by providing the world’s leading agile learning platform that delivers the most effective secure coding solution for developers to learn, apply, and retain software security principles.  More than 600 enterprises trust Secure Code Warrior to implement agile learning security programs, build safer software, and create a culture of developer-driven security.  We are a venture-backed company with offices in Australia, the United States, Belgium, Iceland, and the United Kingdom.

Join us at an exhilarating point in our journey! We are in the midst of transforming our learning platform to a new level. To achieve this, we are looking for passionate, innovative developers to bring fresh ideas and drive our platform to new heights.

HOW YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE After your coffee or energy drink, you'll start the day off with the daily stand up. 15 minutes later you dive into your current ticket and look to conceptualise, build and deliver the requirements. Sometimes it will be fixing bugs, sometimes it will be developing whole new features. Stuck or in need of a sparring partner, your squad mates are ready to hop in a huddle or sit together to help you get where you need.

Need a break or waiting on your build? You go for a walk, go to the grocery store or have a chat or a foosball game in the office.

When does your day end? Your choice. We trust on you getting the job done when delivery is due.

TLDR

  • You'll work on enhancing the platform's infrastructure using React, NodeJS, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to the development and integration of new assets to improve platform functionality and user engagement.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and brainstorming sessions.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a developer, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in React and NodeJS.
  • Solid understanding of AWS, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.

  • For this role you will start out in a 3 days at the office regime. Once you are worked in you can choose when you come into the office.

Nice To haves:

  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python.

What we'll provide in return:

  • a correct salary package including meal vouchers and a transportation plan.
  • An autonomous role with flexible working arrangements. You have the freedom to choose your work location and hours, focusing on outcomes rather than time spent.
  • Opportunity to acquire company shares, aligning your success with the company's growth.
  • Comprehensive support for mental health and professional development, ensuring you thrive both personally and professionally.
