Thomas Cutts

Thomas Cutts is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for Securian Financial since July 2016, Thomas leads legal operations for the Employee Benefit Solutions business unit, specializing in group term life, guaranteed universal life, and other related products. Previously, Thomas held positions as Counsel at Hansen Dordell, Associate Attorney across multiple practice groups, and Reference Attorney at Thomson Reuters, where assistance in legal research was provided. As the owner of Cutts Law, PLLC, Thomas aided clients with financial challenges and business formation. A Robina Fellow at the Volunteer Lawyers Network, Thomas focused on programs for underserved communities. Academic qualifications include a J.D. with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School, a degree in International Business Law from Università Bocconi, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
