Michael Rinehart

Michael Rinehart is currently the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at SECURITI.ai, where they oversee the development and implementation of the Data Command Center. Prior to their role at SECURITI.ai, Rinehart served as the Chief Scientist, Cloud Security at Elastica (acquired by Symantec), where they led a team in developing data-science products for Symantec CloudSOC. Michael also worked at Verizon as a Principal Software Engineer, specializing in Big Data and Algorithms, and at Advanced Information Technology, BAE Systems as a Principal Research Engineer, leading algorithms development for a real-time jamming system. Rinehart co-founded Skulpt, a company focused on developing bio-impedance systems, and worked as a consultant at Bank of America and Infolenz, Inc. Michael has a background in academic research, having served as a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Michael Rinehart holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Michael also earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a concentration in Computer Science, from the University of Maryland.
