Avesta Hojjati

Avesta Hojjati, Ph.D., currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at SecurityScorecard since December 2024. Previously, Avesta held several key positions at DigiCert, Inc., including Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Research and Development, where leadership was provided to global engineering teams and initiatives in new product development, research, and mergers and acquisitions were advanced. Additionally, Avesta has contributed to various organizations, such as serving as an Advisory Board Member for Rutgers University Continuing Education and a Technical Governance Board member for the Sovrin Foundation. Other roles include Chair of the Technical Working Group for ID4me AISBL and Co-Founder & CEO of Phalanx Investment Properties LLC. Avesta’s educational background includes a Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Computer Science from Texas Tech University.
