Kyle Fisher

Kyle Fisher has a diverse range of work experience, predominantly in the field of aerospace engineering. Kyle is currently working as a Propulsion Test Engineer at Relativity Space since July 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at the UW A&A Department, including being the SEDS@UW Multistage Rocket Team Chief Engineer and a member of the Fluid Diodes Project Team in 2020. In 2019, Kyle was a founding officer and Chief Engineer at Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). Kyle was also a Student Researcher at the University of Washington in 2020. Additionally, Kyle has experience in customer service roles, such as being a Shift Lead at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt and a Cashier at Pita Pit. Kyle has also worked as a Student Instructional Assistant and Peer Mentor at Whatcom Community College.

Kyle Fisher's education history begins in 2017 when they attended Montana State University-Bozeman, where they focused on Mechanical Engineering. After completing their studies there in 2018, they transferred to Whatcom Community College, where they pursued an Engineering Transfer Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering until 2019. In 2019, they furthered their education at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering in 2021.

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS)

SEDS-USA is a non-profit organization that supports young people to participate and make an impact in space exploration. It helps students develop their technical and leadership skills by providing opportunities to manage and participate in national projects as well as to attend conferences, publish their work, and develop their professionalnetwork, in order to help students become effective in their present and future careers in industry, academia, government, and education.SEDS-USA is a student-run space organization that consists of an international community of high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from a diverse range of educational backgrounds in chapters all over the world, including Canada, India, Israel, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The organization was founded in 1980 at MIT by Peter Diamandis, at Princeton University by Scott Scharfman, and at Yale University by Richard Sorkin. It is headquartered in Amherst, N.Y.
